Weddings

Congratulations! A wedding is not something somebody plans all of time and some people get overwhelmed with all of things that go along with the wedding and the reception.

I might be a little biased in saying that one of the most important concepts of the reception is the entertainment. I don't mean entertainment like jugglers or magicians. I'm talking about entertainment as holding a group's attention for a certain amount of time. A reception needs a certain amount of structure to keep the guests informed of what is happening with the evening so they will feel they are part of the group and stay and share your special day with you.

I have four parts to my job as an entertainer for you.

• A Master of Ceremonies: A performer who conducts a program of varied entertainment by introducing other performers to the audience. 
• I am a host: One who receives or entertains guests in a social or official capacity. 
• A coordinator: To harmonize in a common action or effort. 
• And a Disc Jockey: An announcer who presents popular recorded music.

I know this sounds a little dry and formal. These terms are thrown around all of the time by others in the industry without them truly knowing what it is they are there to do.

Announcements and music will be handled to set the mood of your evening whether it is formal or casual, it will always be fun and upbeat and a night you and your guests will always remember.
