The Reception
Now, for the fun part. This is the time to relax and enjoy the company of your friends and family and celebrate your marriage. Although there are many ways to orchestrate a reception there is a certain timeline you should consider to create a flow to the party.
At the bottom of this page you can request a planning guide that I will
email you to help plan out the events for your reception. At this point my job will be to create a warm welcome to guests with the right music. Later on I can announce seating arrangements, or excuse people to the buffet. The main concern at the reception is to keep the staff and guests informed of what is happening. I will be coordinating with the caterer, photographer, Best Man, Maid of Honor, so everyone will be informed of what to do next. The main point is everything will happen "behind the scenes" and will take the stress off of you and the evening will flow effortlessly!
A few of the events I will announce and coordinate:
- Entrance of the Bride & Groom
- Beginning of dinner
- Best Man's Toast
- Cake Cutting
- First Dance
- Father Daughter Dance
- Garter Removal
- Garter Toss
- Bouquet Toss
- Dancing!
Keep in mind, this is your reception and you are welcome to customize it anyway you would like. I will be happy to answer any questions or offer any suggestions.
For every reception I will be set up, dressed appropriately, and ready for the event before the first guest arrives.

Braden,
You were great at the wedding, I thank you so much. My mom thought you were very funny. We have been to a couple of weddings since and our son Connor always asks if you are going to playing the music.
Thank you so very much! Tim & Angela
