The Ceremony
If you are conducting a traditional wedding in a church they typically have their own sound system and someone to operate it. If the ceremony is taking place at the same location as the reception you have a few options for sound and music. I have seen string quartets, jazz bands, and pianists/singers perform for the wedding ceremony. These are all great choices.
Another option is to have me operate the sound and music for your ceremony.
What I can provide:
-
Background Music while guests are arriving.
- A wireless lapel microphone for the officiator.
- A wireless handheld microphone for a singer.
- Music for the seating of special guests and entrance of the bridal party.
- Processional Music
- Candle Lighting Music
- Recessional Music.
- A compact sound system that will not interfere with decorations and the setting of your wedding.
I bring out a separate system for this. When checking with other Disc Jockeys, be sure that they do the same. What will happen a lot of the time is after the ceremony the Disc Jockey will have to tear down the equipment and set up again trying to make his way through your guests, not to mention the down time without background music. Having a second system present is the best way to have a seamless transition between the ceremony and the reception.

Braden,
Thank you so much for DJ'ing my 16th birthday party. It was so much fun, and you made me feel so special! You played the perfect songs, it was so awesome. Oh, and thank you for taking requests. Anyways, I hope you had just as much fun as I did. You were a hit with my friends and I.
Thanks Again, Brie
